The work we do to support those facing hardship has never been more needed.
DONATE GOODS
You can give us furniture, clothing, homewares, linen, electrical goods, jewelry, books, toys and art works to sell. Drop off to one of our shops during opening hours, or arrange a free pick-up by calling:

Please ensure your donated items are clean and in good condition, so that we can sell them. Our volunteers spend hours sorting, mending and cleaning donations.
DONATE FOOD
We always need canned food, cereal, long life milk and biscuits to put into our food bags. Fruit and vegetables are also most welcome.
We appreciate receiving surplus grocery bags for our emergency food handouts.
Vouchers from local supermarkets are also a lovely way to help local people, especially those with young families, or the recently bereaved and living alone.

Email our Treasurer on accounts@svdpnelson.org.nz to discuss making a donation, and arranging a receipt. You may also wish to specify what type of things you want to support (for example, the elderly, children, medical, food, power.)

DONATE YOUR TIME
Contact your nearest branch to volunteer as a member or shop assistant, on deliveries, visiting, at events, with prayer, sorting goods and recycling. There are so many things to do and we hope you will enjoy being part of something positive in your community.
